I took this backpack on a 5-day trip that included both city walking and a short mountain hike, and it held up better than expected. I packed clothes, toiletries, a DSLR with two lenses, and my 16” laptop, all fit with room to spare. The built-in vacuum pump actually works. I rolled up my clothes, zipped them into the inner compression section, used the pump, and instantly got way more space. No need to lug around an extra vacuum bag or sit on your suitcase. What I really like is how organized everything stays. The laptop compartment is padded and easy to access at TSA checks. Straps are thick but breathable, and the zippers don’t snag. It fits in most airplane overhead bins or even under the seat if not overstuffed. I’ve used a lot of travel bags, but this one hits the mark in terms of structure and usability without being overdesigned. Great for anyone who likes to travel light but hates giving up order.
Packing for my son’s summer camp is usually a bit of a puzzle but this backpack made it noticeably less chaotic this time. The vacuum pump worked better than I expected and was strong enough to flatten towels and a hoodie which made room for clothes, sneakers, and a few extras without needing a second bag. The compartments inside helped keep things organized and the padded sleeve held his tablet securely. After a swim day, I tossed his damp trunks into the waterproof pocket and didn’t have to worry about them mixing with the rest. The compression zipper takes a firm pull to close all the way but it stays sealed. It does feel a bit heavy once everything is packed in but still manageable for him. He’s already planning to use it again for our winter break trip so it ended up being a good choice.
Very well made backpack with tons of functionality. I recently took this on a month long vacation across Europe and it did great. The material is very durable and there is tons of storage. My 1 star deduction is that the air pump it comes with is rather bulky and takes up space when I am trying to make more by vacuuming out the air. I found that I could simply squeeze out the air by sitting on the compression region and it pretty much worked the same without needing the pump. I was able to stuff sweatpants, a hoodie, and some underwear into the compression region and it squeezed down to very little. I also like the straps on the outside for compressing the entire bag even more. The water bottle holder is tight but it works. This is one of my favorite travel bags.
Honestly, this is one of the best travel backpacks we’ve used. The black color and sleek design look really fashionable, and the quality feels solid the moment you touch it. It’s the perfect size to meet most of airline’s carry on requirements, and it’s loaded with built in pockets that make organizing everything so much easier. The capacity is awesome, especially with the vacuum pump, it really doubles the space and keeps everything compact and neat. My husband loves it, and it’s been especially helpful when we travel with the kids. It frees up our hands since everything fits in one place, and the shoulder straps are comfortable even after wearing it for a long time.Between the TSA lock, water resistant material, and laptop compartment, this backpack checks all the boxes. Definitely one of our best travel gear upgrades.
Used this on a weekend trip where I needed to pack some heavier layers and the vacuum section inside did a surprisingly good job at saving space. Once sealed and compressed, the clothing volume was reduced enough to fit everything into carry on limits even with a laptop and shoes included. The small pump that comes with it is compact but strong and clears the air quickly without much effort. The overall shape of the backpack stays balanced when full, and the compartments make it easy to separate items like clothes, shoes, and tech. The compression zipper does feel tight and takes a steady hand to close, but that helps keep the seal effective. Helped me stay within carry on limits without juggling extra bags.
